The Keeley Compressors now have an Internal Attack control, designed for bass players with high output active pick-ups or active pedal boards with buffers.

After tweaking the compressor design, the Keeley Compressors now have an input sensitivity control which allows the user to run keyboards, drum machines, drum mics, master recordings and other line-level uses with the Keeley Compressor. You’ll raise your signal to a new level of Sonic-Awesomeness.

The Keeley Compressor effect has nothing but tone tested components and true bypass switching and the effect switching incorporates a triple pole-double throw switch! The user will marvel at the clean unaffected sound when in the bypass mode and the compressor has an LED for effect indication.

Metal film resistors and capacitors ensure the cleanest compressor on the market. Hand matched transistors to less than 1% tolerance and ensures the musician receives a perfectly compressed signal with no chance for unwanted distortions.

I came up with this Compressor and I think it has a really nice wide range of application. It is very smooth with a lot of sustain and pop. Great low end. This can do Rock, Jazz, Country, Nashville, well you get the idea, not your standard Ross clone!. I use matched transistors, and it is true Bypass.

Pedal is quiet as far as compressors go with hardly any noise.

Like many guitarists, Brian has alway been looking for a compressor that was transparent while still giving the sound a very pleasant thickening quality. He had used many compressor in the past and they always seemed to alter the tone in a way that sounded as if the squeezing and compressing was 'fake' - like it had a cheapening affect on the sound.

The Ego Compressor is our answer to this...

It gives you a clear articulate sound thanks to the “clean blend” knob which blends in your original clean signal yet still thickens your tone up better than anything else available in pedal form. It also will add a ton of sustain to your notes - all without excess noise. The “tone” control adds in clarity and punchiness - while cutting through the mix! It won't screw your core tone up either like other compressors with tone controls.

Compressor Lime Aid

Due to the popularity of our Pulp N Peel guitar compressor and a demand for a truly transparent and useful bass compressor, we bring you the “Lime Aid”. Dynamics, punch and clarity are a few of the things that this unit will bring to your tone. One of the main advantages of the compressor is the low end response and the ability to keep untouched, clean signal along side your compressed tone. Many players will see this as an enhancement more than a typical compressor. Others will see it as a boost that can drive your amp with a soft touch. However you use it, you will most likely never want to turn it off.

Compression is the one effect that can make the difference between sounding polished and professional or just normal and part of the crowd. As you may have guessed by our suave design, we based this comp off of a certain vintage design made famous back in the day. Most compressors you see are based off of the Ross/MXR design that yield very squashed high end and a lack of upper end clarity and definition. The Pulp n Peel is not. With the PnP you will find that your guitar's natural color and attack stay in place instead of being forced under a hard and un-transparent squash. Another advantage is its low noise floor and super headroom that allows it to be used as a boost in front of or behind your favorite overdrive/distortion or fuzz. The PnP excels in the fields of blues, jazz, funk and classic rock because of its natural transparency and cooperation with single coils as well as humbuckers. The controls are as simple as it gets with compression, volume and a clean blend knob to dial in your original untouched signal. The idea behind our design is that you will never want to turn it off, and if your looking for the perfect "leave-on" compressor that will make your rig sound like a million bucks, then look no further. NOTE: Our blend control blends compression in. All the way up is full compression/preamp tone while rolling it backwards brings in your original uncompressed tone. One more thing, don't play with the trim pot inside of the pedal, as tempting as it is because we set that to a very specific voltage with our fancy electronic tools.

Compressor Comp Box Batik

You are looking on a clone of the famous gray Ross Compressor which is known for it's smoothness compression and attack response.

The Ross design is updated with true bypass switching and the finest components, providing clean, smooth compression with low noise and incredible transparency. You will notice note-to-note levels that are smoother and more consistent, chords and picking that is tighter and more focused.

Compressor The Warden

The Warden is an optical compressor with a feature set usually reserved for studio grade units. Built with high grade components and internally powered by 18v, The Warden has loads of gain and sustain on tap. With complete control over attack, release, sustain and ratio, The Warden will allow everything from a heavy squash with fast attack and release to “barely there” subtle compression. Optical compression has a reputation for having more character than a VCA or FET based compression and The Warden is no exception.

Controls

- Tone: This pedal was designed to slightly color your tone, the coloration can be dialed-in to your taste. Counter clockwise is treble cut, clockwise is treble boost. The tone is nearly flat around 11 O’Clock.
- Level: This controls the overall output and is affected by the sustain and ratio settings. There is no specific unity setting, adjust to taste when you find your perfect compression setting
- Sustain: This is the heart of The Warden. It controls how hot the signal is, which changes the dynamics of the compression. The Warden is a feedback style compressor, the hotter the signal, the more active the compression. Very little sustain= very little compression, less active attack and release and a cooler signal, Max sustain= heavy compression, longer sustain, hotter signal and more lively attack and release.
- Ratio: This determines how much the gain reduction affects the signal. All the way up is full compression and the compression is reduced as you turn this counter clockwise which allows more of the boosted, less compressed, signal to come through. There are no defined ratios here.
- Attack: This controls how quickly the compressor reacts and starts leveling the signal. All the way counter clockwise is a fast, nearly immediate reaction. Turning the attack clockwise slows the reaction time.
- Release: This controls how long it takes the signal to raise back up to the level determined by the sustain & ratio settings. All the way counter clockwise is a fast release and the release time slows as you turn it clockwise.
