The new "Ball Buster" is the latest offering from Dirty Boy Pedals... It was conceived to be used to drive the front end of your old "one trick pony" amp and give you a whole new array of amazing and usable guitar tones.

GAIN KNOB - When the pedal is first engaged you'll notice an instant 10db (approx.) of clean pure boost ... as the knob is turned clockwise the pedal starts to explode with gain and natural compression... When fully clockwise you'll find yourself in Fuzz territory.

TREBLE/BASS KNOBS - Both perfectly voiced for guitar. The TREBLE can go from that perfectly transparent sheen to that old British cut with a simple twist of the knob, always rich and solid without that paper thin brittle high end thing that most pedals have. When the BASS knob is counter clockwise it is flat... As you turn it clockwise you'll hear your signal get rich and lush in a matter of seconds. It has been voiced so that you only get the usable bass frequencies that actually make your guitar signal fatter... Not that typical woofy, flubby thing that just makes your guitar harder to play... Both of these knobs used in conjunction w/the H-M-L switch is where the fun begins...

H-M-L SWITCH - The H-M-L switch does for your guitar signal much like what a mastering engineer does for your CD (In order to make your CD tracks as loud and as punchy as possible, many mastering engineers will often get rid or "shave" unusable low end frequencies that just cloud up the mix and eat up the energy of the track...getting rid of the unusable bass frequencies will actually give you more bottom end) The H-M-L switch allows you to shave or get rid of those unwanted unusable bass frequencies that just make your sound muddy, tubby and hard to play. Once you have gotten rid of those unusable bass frequencies, use the Bass knob to add in the right amount of usable bass frequencies to help get that super-rich lush bottom end that is perfect for both the fattest of leads as well as keeping that "tight low end chord thing" going on for Rhythm. Just plug the Ball Buster into the bass channel of an old plexi and you'll understand what I'm talkin' about.

The Ball Buster is also true bypass so as to not alter your "bypassed signal" and can be used with a 9vdc power supply if desired.

We have finally posted a soundclip for the Ballbuster. I have decided to make it a song rather then individual position sound clips. This song really rocks and is a great representation of what the pedal does. For some reason, this pedal has been super popular with major guitars players that are playing large venues like Colisseums and Madison Square Garden. Boost Banana Boost

With just a volume and range knob, you will be amazed by sounds from this one pedal. Paired with any tube amp, you have at your feet one of the most versatile tone shaping tools available.

The volume knob gives you more than enough headroom to easily drive your amp into natural breakup but the range knob is where the magic is found. When turned to the left 50% you have Rangemaster/Treble Booster tones, and to the right 50% you have full range boost tones in the ranks of a LPB-1 power booster. The placement of this pedal can yield vastly different results. When you run the pedal after your overdrive or fuzz, it projects exactly what it hears and sends it soaring above the mix. If you run it before your dirt boxes, you can force them into rich harmonic saturation that will cause a permanent smile on your face. Either way you choose, the result is a booster that does its job so well you may never turn it off.

The Wampler Pedals “Clean Buffer” was an extremely well-liked pedal during its production, known for its purity of tone and for offering fantastic buffering that allowed pretty much any gear to get along nicely. We've had constant requests since it was discontinued to make just a few more, or from people wondering when it would be coming back?.

Boost Germanium Boy

A multi-frequency booster with a 12 position frequency selector and a gain function. It allows you to choose which frequency you choose to boost. That is very important since it helps marry your guitar with whatever amp you are using. If your guitar is too bassy, choose a high frequency to boost. If you have humbuckers and you wish a single-coil sound, choose a higher frequency. If you have a single coil and want to fatten it up, use a low frequency. The same goes with the amp.

This pedal can be used on a microphone for effects, bass guitar, keyboards, nylon electric, horns, digital mixes, the combinations are endless.

I build them with Germanium transistors that are about 40 years old and have smoth clipping, not with silicon transistors that have a tendency to sound like razor blades. Of course, I only have a limited quantity of those transistors so you may want to take this into consideration when ordering.

This pedal has been hugely popular with L.A. based studio musicians as well as Emmy winning producers. It is also great for live performances. These are true Bypass and have an insert for a 9-volt wall wart and have an LED as well for instant recognition.

Boost Java Boost

The Java Boost is a germanium based Treble Booster designed to give you classic tones from the 60's and 70's. It is not a clean boost.

It must be used with a cranked amp that is overdriven or distorting a bit already. Cranking the amp and pedal will result in more creamy, beautiful, sustaining distortion with the Java Boost.

The Java Boost is most widely used with a tube amp set to a bit of overdrive or clipping which is the key to getting a great sound from this pedal. Setting the java boost in front of a very clean amp with the volume on 1-2 will surely result in a fairly weak guitar tone! Set the amp for some breakup, then click the Java on. Boost Katana Boost

As far as guitar clean boosts go, the Katana is KING TONE. It's the pedal to have for the finishing touch on your tone.

Want a mirror image of your tone, only louder? This is it. The Katana is also a fat, harmonically rich boost, just pull out on the volume knob and stretch your imagination with overdriven tone! The Katana circuit is Robert Keeley's first guitar effect design for Keeley Electronics. It was originally designed for Legendary Tones for the Time Machine Boost but then became an independent product under the Keeley name after the Compressor came out. Robert's very first effect pedal design (1999) was a digitally controlled Analog Delay complete with built in digital tuner. It worked perfectly and can even be seen at the shop from time to time. Delay times could be input via a keypad to enter the amount of delay in milliseconds or by potentiometers. The Katana is no less stunning in its beautiful simplicity and stunning sound quality.

Boost Mini Bomb Boost

A good booster is often the most underrated tool a guitarist can own. When placed before your overdrives or distortions, a thicker, stronger and more saturated tone can be achieved. When placed after, you get you exact tone except louder. This is great for lead passages and for causing your tube amp to naturally overdrive due to its huge amount of headroom. Boost Super Chili Picoso

The Super Chili Picoso is a deceptively simple pedal that performs so many duties and solves so many problems that it is a must have in every self-respecting musicians’ arsenal. Let’s go through a number of these, shall we?!

- Buffer. Have a lot of pedals and/or long cable runs on stage? I don’t care how “low capacitance” your cables are, they are going to roll off high frequency detail and signal strength. The Super Chili Picoso’s high input impedance (something like 10M ohms) and ultra low output impedance (around 3K ohms) doesn’t let a drop of your tone escape. Just turn the big knob counter-clockwise and go! The Super Chili Picoso is your buffer!

Boost Tone Bully

Thought I'd give you a heads up about my latest pedal that may interest you. It's called the " Tone Bully ". It's 2 pedals in one. The first one is actually a treble booster like the Germanium Boy but with only 2 frequency selections, high and low and a gain knob. The second one is a sustainer with fuzz and volume. The first one can be used individually from the other and the second one can be individually from the booster.

What makes this pedal special is that you can use both the booster and the sustainer simultaniously. It then creates this super wide sound that will exceed any sound that you have ever heard from a single pedal. It is just not louder, but so fat without being choked and keeps all the characteristics that you would expect from a very accurate unit. This is similar to the sound of well known artists that believe in using more then one sustain effect at once but all wrapped up in one unit. Of course you can change the whole width of the sound by selecting the either High or Low position on the booster.

The Enceladus is a must have piece of gear for any guitarist. A useful clean JFET booster that adds definition and saturation to your tone. The Gospel Bomb is a tweaked version of the classic ‘Rangemaster’ germanium boost. This pedal will kick the front end of your amp into high gear and send you into tonal bliss. Any tube amp that has a pretty sensitive preamp section will light up when you drop the bomb. The Tone Job is a complete tone enhancement tool designed around a stereo preamp to cover as much frequency range as possible. What does this mean for you, the user? It means it can handle a wide variety of frequencies from electrical guitars, bass guitar, synthesizer machines and just about anything else you can plug in. The treble, bass and middle controls will cut or boost up to 20db. In addition to that, the level control will boost the signal (post EQ) up to 5 times the input depending on where the dial is set.
