JHS Mods Boss BD-2 Blu-Drive Bass Boost

Our “Blu Drive” mod will give you the fullest range of tones out of any modded overdrive pedal we offer. Unlike the Tubescreamer type pedals out there, the Blu Drive is very transparent and extremely amp-like in its response and character. You will notice a huge range of gain that reaches from clean boost to all out fuzz with the headroom that you need. Our “Fuzztain” switch gives you a compressed fuzz tone that is as unique as it is useful.

We fine-tune the BD-2 with high quality component changes for smooth highs, solid bass response and the lowest noise possible.

JHS Mods Boss DS-1 Synth Drive

In this one pedal lives more tone and creativity than any pedal we offer. The foundation of the Synth Drive is a modified DS-1 with exceptional distortion tones, massively improved response, better dynamics as well as enough range to do it all.

The great thing is, we didn’t stop there. We added 3 synth switches to the sides of the pedal that allow for the most unique tone shaping abilities we believe you will ever see in one pedal. These switches, used individually or collectively, yield everything from lo-fo overdrive, fuzz, synth droning, octave distortion, ring modulation type frequencies and more!

JHS Mods Boss TR-2 Two-Speed Trem

There’s nothing cooler than the sound of an old blackface Fender amp with the tremolo pulsing in beat. We turn this standard mass produced trem into a vintage Two-Speed tone monster.

We start with our known and loved Versa Trem Mod which gives you that vintage amp trem character and body you're looking for. We also correct the volume drop of the stock TR2 by giving you an external volume knob to dial in the perfect level and/or boost that you need. Next we take it a step further by adding a second speed knob and footswitch that allows you to alternate between two independently controlled speeds! This is like having two tremolos in one enclosure. We also add a nifty bi-color LED (red/green) to let you know which speed channel is engaged. The bi-color LED also gives you a flashing visual indication of how fast your speed set to.

JHS Mods EHX Micro Pog Quadra Pog Mod

We love the Micro Pog but wanted more control and on-the-fly options. Our mod starts with duplicating both of the Micro Pog's octave knobs with internal trim pots and adding two independent footswitches that enable you to toggle between the internal octave knobs and the external octave controls. No, seriously....we just gave you the ability to independently turn on/off both of the octave knob controls and gave you the ability to use up to 4 unique presets on the fly! Adjust each internal trim pot to choose between 4 settings in real time, and an infinite number of settings over all. Choose between your normal setting, setting A, setting B, or setting A+B.

JHS Mods EHX Soul Food Mod

Electro Harmonix recently released the Soul Food, which is a very accurate reproduction of the Klon. We add a 3-way clipping toggle that gives you stock EHX clipping, open clipping, and we added true Klon style germanium clipping which isn't present in the stock Soul Food pedal. Lastly, we also added a bass contour "Meat" knob to really make this pedal a tone shaping tool.

These modifications retain the integrity of the original Klon tones while giving you a few extra tone shaping abilities.

JHS Mods EHX Soul Food Mod

This may be one of the most unknown, GREAT pedals of the decade! Rich sustain and everything that you love about raw overdrive/fuzz in one package.

We take this already good pedal into boutique territory by adding a tone knob (blue knob) and a three way clipping/gain switch. This may have the most open and natural sounding fuzz/overdrive sounds we have ever heard after our mods! This mod works on the old and new version and they sound identical!

JHS Mods Ernie Ball VP Active/No Loss

The Ernie Ball volume pedal is one of the most used pedals out there but surprisingly it has BIG issues. We exposed this in our Volume Pedal Woes (Active/No Loss Mod) and have developed a mod that cures all the issues, making this volume an awesome tool for more than just swells!

We install our Little Black Buffered Splitter to give you two truly isolated outputs for tuner and mono out. This eliminates ALL of the noise, tone loss and removes the improper load on your signal. For those of you who want to use the tuner out function, this is a must have fix. The biggest benefit of this mod is that it makes your EB Volume active and buffered with our buffer circuitry. This will give you the best clean tone you may have ever had because it will drive your long path to your amp. The pedal in it’s stock condition is drastically hurting your tone (even when your not using the tuner out).

Because we install our active buffered circuitry you will now need to power the unit. Use any standard 9v power supply and your good to go!

JHS Mods Ibanez TS-9 Tri-Screamer TB

Do you love the TS-9 but just wish it had more attitude? How about tons more saturation and the ability to choose three different clipping types? That’s what we have here in the Tri-Screamer. We fine tune this screamer to live on the wild side.

Heavy overdrive tones galore with enough range to make your head spin. Better all around dynamics and clarity even when cranked. We install a NE5532 chip for the perfect final touch.

We dare you to combine this with your amp's lead channel or even stack it with another overdrive. You may never be the same.

JHS Mods OCD Prescription Mod

We change the tone-stack to remove the harsh high-end sometimes found on certain rigs. You'll notice more low end, clearer mids, and an overall more useful tone control. The gain is more open and smooth akin to tube-amp break-up. The Prescription mod works on every version of the Fulltone OCD.

JHS Mods ProCo RAT2 Pack Rat

The RAT is one of the most classic and original designs in the history of effects pedals. Guitar legends and bedroom rockers have found the sound that they want from this little black box. As classic as it is, there is always room for some exceptional improvements. We start by replacing the horrible factory chip with a little discovery of our own that no one else is using in their RAT modifications. You can expect all the vibe and mojo of the old LMN308 but with less noise and a more well rounded response. This gives a real dynamic change in the pedal as well as clarity in the lower gain settings. Other improvements in the signal path are made by replacing the cheap bargain capacitors with metal film and tantalum caps as well as a few value changes along the way for optimum bass response and smooth silky highs.

After all that’s done we give you three clipping gain options (DOWN=vintage Si, MIDDLE=open boost, UP=LED turbo RAT) with the flick of a mini toggle switch. You can get literally any sound you can think of out of this box when were finished. It makes a great clean boost, light overdrive, crunchy rhythm channel, heavy Marshal-ish grind, over the top fuzz and the list goes on! This is the only pedal on earth that can give you sustain for days with such clarity and character.
